The team had to patch together a starting line up with a number of regulars out due to injuries, but came out on top in the end. Although the team maintained possession for much of the first half, it was only able to capitalize once on a great shot from Alex H. from 20 yards out.
The second half was much of the same until Alex. H found Rheese W. on a through ball for a 2-0 lead. Shorecrest seemed to loosen up after this and was able to put one more away when Armando A. found Rheese W. for his second goal of the night.
The team is now 6-4-3 and plays Bay Conference rival Calvary Christian tomorrow at 4 p.m. With the win the team locked up the #3 seed for the district tournament.
