The Chargers shut out its opponent for the second consecutive match in defeating Bradenton Christian 4-0. The team's smart play helped them jump out to a quick 1-0 lead after 10 minutes. After 6 corners, Sam C. hammered home a low driven corner by Rheese W. Eight minutes later Alex H. took a pass from Rheese W. and burst through the defense to put away the first of his two goals. In the second half the defense continued its strong presence which included an assist from Steven W. He played a well timed long ball to a wide open streaking Rheese W. The goal put the Chargers up 3-0 with 20 minutes to play. A few minutes later Alex H. took a deflection from a hard Caelum S. shot and weaved his way across the top of the box. The ball looked as if it was going to be saved but sneaked under the keeper. The team has only lost one game in its last eight and remains undefeated in district play. Up next is Tampa Prep.
