Shorecrest won easily against Keswick to improve to 2-0 in the district and even its record at five hundred. Alistair F. (Brian W. assist) started the scoring off early with a blast from the right side and quickly added two more (Armando A. & Jake C. assists) for a hat trick and a 3-0 lead. Outstanding movement of the ball across the back helped the Chargers offense create numerous scoring opportunities as the team recorded an astonishing 41 shots for the game with 27 on goal. The comfortable lead enabled all players to switch positions, including defender Hunter T. (Brian W. assist) who logged time up top. He didn't squander the opportunity scoring his first goal of the season to put the Chargers up 4-0. Fellow defender Philip M. (Thomas K. assist) pushed forward on a deep throw in and had his shot deflect into the goal shortly thereafter to end the first half scoring.

Down 5-0, Keswick packed the back after halftime making it difficult for the Chargers to get off quality shots. Shorecrest continued to work the ball around well though, and finally added one more when Brian W. (Alistair F. assist) crashed the goal to clean up a bobbled save after a corner.
Although the team looked great, it was difficult to assess exactly how great. The Chargers definitely looked more comfortable passing the ball around with patience, but Keswick's laid-back style of defense allowed ample time to make decisions. The game tomorrow against Admiral Farragut will be a better test as Shorecrest looks to stay undefeated in district play.
