Shorecrest vs Indian Rocks Loss 1-3

The Chargers lost a game that was theirs to win and fell to 0-3 for the season. After a lackluster warm up, the team started out on a solid foot, but gave up a goal at the ten minute mark on a break away from the left wing. Despite that goal, the pressure, possession, and intensity continued to strengthen for Shorecrest right into the second half. The game was eventually tied up when Matt R's long throw was flicked on by Weilun S. and ended up in the back of the net. The team continued to press, but in an eerily similar way to last year's heartbreaker to Out of Door, gave up a last minute goal to go down 1-2. Less than a minute later the team let in the final goal to end the game 1-3. With the loss the team now must hope for an Indian Rocks loss to Northside or Calvary to have any shot at the Bay Conference championship.
