Shorecrest @ Out of Door Tie 2-2

The Chargers escaped with a 2-2 tie against district rival Out of Door. LookIng to avenge last year's heartbreaking loss in the semifinals, Shorecrest took a 1-0 lead when Jules J. headed in a bouncing punt from goalkeeper Ahmed D. that ended up in the opponent's 18. The team took the lead into halftime, but found themselves on the defensive for much of the second half. Midway through a lack of communication lead to an own goal, tying the game 1-1. With 10 minutes to go a questionable non-call on a "possible" offside gave ODA the lead. With time running out- literally less than a minute - Shorecrest earned a corner kick. Armando A. sent a perfect ball to the dead center of the box where Steven W. headed in the game's equalizer.
