Shorecrest @ St. Stephen's - Loss 0-2

Shorecrest played tough but couldn't break through against a young, but very skillfull St. Stephen's team. The Chargers missed a golden opportunity early on to take the lead, but never threatened again. Despite spending most of the game running endlessly to track the movement of the opposing attack the defense played well. The first goal came just before half when a 50/50 ball between Ahmed D. and a Falcon striker deflected into the goal. The second half provided much of the same, as Shorecrest found themselves on the defensive for much of the 40 minutes. A well placed shot from 25 out ended the scoring and dropped the Chargers to 3rd in the district even though this game counted as the only defeat. Up next is Senior Night next Saturday vs. CCC.
