Shorecrest @ Tampa Prep - Loss 1-5

Although the Chargers lost to Tampa Prep 1-5, the team played well in spurts and were in the game until late. The team went down 0-1 early on, but tied it up shortly after when Rheese W. connected on a penalty kick. The team held defensively for much of the first half, but gave up a header from the back post before half. The first 15 minutes of the second half belonged to Shorecrest, but they couldn't create any dangerous chances. Tampa Prep took advantage of their opportunities after the water break and put away two point-blank shots and a long range bomb into the top corner. The team plays Admiral Farragut on Wednesday.
