Shorecrest vs Bishop McLaughlin Loss 2-3

The Chargers dropped to 1-4 with a loss to Bishop McLaughlin. Although Shorecrest outshot their opponent and connected on two late goals, it wasn't enough. Early on, the team dug themselves a big hole by giving up two goals. They failed to connect on a couple of excellent opportunities and went into the half down 0-2. In the second half, the Chargers held the ball significantly more, but still gave up yet another goal. With about ten minutes left, the team finally broke through with a goal by Jules J.. With just under a minute Jules scored again to cut the lead to 2-3, but the final whistle blew immediately after the ensuing kickoff. Both goals were assisted by Matt R. who sent two long throw-ins into the goal box. This coming week is bigger than ever as all 3 games are district opponents.
